Prairie State College (PSC) and the Chicago South Area Office of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) are hosting the First Southland Occupational Safety and Health Conference on Thursday, July 18, 2019, on the PSC main campus in Chicago Heights, Ill. Keynote Address will present best practices and preparedness in an Active Shooter Event. As a result of polling efforts, we also have identified significant topics of interest to our local businesses and will be offering training and discussion on Accident Investigation, Top 10 OSHA Citations, Marijuana in the Workplace and OSHA for Small Business, Fork Lift Training, LOTO, CDL Yard Safety, and Safety at the Loading Dock.
