The cost of responding to COVID-19 will cause states to seek additional revenue sources via taxes. Once again a tax on warehouse services may be seen by some governors and state legislators as a way to help close the budget gap.  IWLA has succeeded in the past to defeat warehouse taxes in Pennsylvania, Minnesota and Michigan.  We need to be prepared, once again, if any state looks to warehouses as a way to balance its budget.  Please be IWLA’s early warning system!  If you hear any noise about a possible warehouse tax, let IWLA know ASAP.
