The IWLA Sustainability Council is pleased to announce the lineup for its meeting, March 10 in conjunction with the IWLA Convention & Expo in Savannah, Ga. This is one of many new developments for the council including the adoption of a new charter and the publication of the Sustainability Commitment Program in November.
The IWLA Sustainability Council invites ALL members (including partners) to enjoy the 3:30 p.m. meeting March 10 to start making a difference. Check out the agenda:
- Richard Murphy, CWLP, president & CEO of Murphy Warehouse Company will present on his environmental policy and the significant investments to upgrade his logistics campuses in a sustainable manner that includes energy savings and power generation, pollution abatement and resource management.
- Erin Richmond, representing the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency commercial division of ENERGY STAR, will present on case studies of warehousing facilities who have established energy management programs and tracked data through the online portal, Portfolio Manager.
- Kristine Grudis, warehouse sales manager, Randall Manufacturing and Rob Russo, CWLP, president of Port Jersey Logistics will present on the application of InsulWall in a Port Jersey facility and the energy savings associated with this project.
