Identifying and acting on a long-term solution for transportation funding continues to be a priority for the 3PL warehouse industry. It is critical that Congress creates a long-term solution now, and does not continue punting this issue further down the road. The trend of governing from crisis to crisis has stalled job-creating infrastructure projects and has created uncertainty for businesses.

Time is running out. In fact, Congress only has until May 31 to re-authorize the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21) before federal highway trust fund dollars in every state begin to run dry. These continued federal investments in our states are important to moving freight through the supply chain.
