The IWLA Political Action Committee (IWLA-PAC) is pleased to announce that nearly all the candidates supported during the 2016 election cycle won their respective races. This means that roughly two dozen candidates in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives are friends of our industry and business.

IWLA is in a strong political position. During this past summer and fall, IWLA-PAC contributed more than $120,000 to help elect these candidates from both parties. Many contributions were hand delivered by IWLA members at various political fundraisers and receptions. These in-person opportunities are essential to our success: Members serve as the face of IWLA and impart the importance of the 3PL industry onto the candidates directly. These efforts left a lasting impression.

IWLA-PAC thanks those members who have generously contributed during the last couple of years, as well as to our members who represented IWLA at the fundraisers. Our 88-percent success rate this election could not have been made possible without your support and commitment. We now look forward to working with these elected officials in Washington, D.C., to sustain the health and vitality of the 3PL and warehouse logistics industry.

We invite you to participate in our next IWLA-PAC event, in conjunction with the IWLA Convention & Expo, March 19-21, 2017, in Palm Springs, Calif. The March 19 evening reception and dinner features Will Durst, a nationally syndicated humor columnist and contributor to CNN, MSNBC and Fox News. Durst’s performance is sponsored by Allegiance Staffing. Click here for more information about this event.

We hope to see you there.
