Duke Realty’s Interstate 95 Center of Commerce in Ft. Lauderdale 100% Leased

Recent leases take two recently acquired buildings totaling 306,465 SF to full occupancy.

The South Florida office of Duke Realty (NYSE: DRE), the leading domestic-focused industrial property REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) in the country, announces that it has signed two new leases, bringing its two-building, 306,465-square-foot Interstate 95 Center of Commerce portfolio in Ft. Lauderdale to 100 percent occupancy. Lanter Delivery Systems, a parts distributor, will occupy 38,830 square feet in Interstate 95 2200 located at 2200 W. Sunrise Blvd., while Mygrant Glass Company, an auto glass wholesaler, has leased the remaining 30,214 square feet in the building.

“We are pleased to welcome both Lanter Delivery and Mygrant Glass to our Interstate 95 properties,” said Ed Mitchell, Senior Vice President of Duke Realty’s South Florida operations. “In addition to the advantages new, modern warehouse space will bring to their operations, both of these companies will benefit from having access to I-95 just one traffic light from the building. With the proximity of the highway, these tenants can be in Ft. Lauderdale or the Miami metro area, the airport or Port Everglades within minutes

Duke Realty acquired Interstate 95 Center of Commerce in September 2017. Though Interstate 95 2100 was fully occupied by Floor & Décor and Broward Motor Sports, 166,370 square feet of space was available in Interstate 95 2200. In addition to Lanter Delivery and Mygrant Glass, U.S. Venture is a tenant in the building.
