Logistics and transportation provider formally establishes operations hub in
Southeastern United States

Sonwil Distribution—became a fourth generation family owned and operated logistics solutions firm serving regional, national, and international clients for more than 70 years—announced its expansion into the Southeastern United States through the official opening of a new Greater Atlanta Metro Area warehouse at 16126 Alcovy Road, in Covington, Georgia. This facility will be operated by Samantha A. Wilson, the great-granddaughter of founder James E Wilson and daughter of current CEO, Peter G. Wilson.

relationships in the Southeastern market, we are excited to operate in one of the most
dynamic economic regions in the country,” said Peter Wilson, president and CEO of
Sonwil Distribution Center. “Our company works with many of the world’s largest
manufacturers across various industry verticals, and we look forward to more fully
servicing one of our existing partners in the Atlanta area and Covington specifically.”

Sonwil’s Covington location will include 300,000 sq. ft. of operational, office, and
ambient storage space, as well as multiple overhead dock doors and employee parking.
This is a registered Food Grade/FDA (2011 FSMA Act) facility and like its other food
grade facilities, Sonwil will obtain BRC (British Retail Consortium) certification, an
internationally recognized Global storage and distribution standard.

continued Wilson. “As a premier provider of food grade warehousing and distribution
our initial focus in this market will be to serve the current regional warehousing and
distribution needs of a key long term customer. Eventually, our attention will shift
toward the establishment of additional capacity, in order to expand our service offerings
to other companies operating, or planning to operate, in and around the wider region.”
