Munster, Ind., Supply Chain Executive with Raymond Corp. Earns Professional Designation

The International Warehouse Logistics Association recently recognized Tim Osmulski, a Munster, Ind., logistics executive as a Certified Warehouse Logistics Professional (CWLP).

Osmulski is director of the supply chain and logistics segment at The Raymond Corporation. His CWLP designation recognizes Osmulski’s professional accomplishments and dedication to the warehouse logistics industry. He met a series of requirements, including broad-based educational prerequisites, to achieve CWLP.

“The CWLP designation was created for professionals like Tim,” says IWLA Education Committee C0-Chairman Kristi Montgomery. “Tim’s hard work and dedication to the broader supply chain makes the entire logistics industry better. Not only is he an expert, he is always willing to share that expertise and serve others in the industry.”

Since joining Raymond in 2010, Osmulski has conducted research and analysis in operational requirements for the 3PL and warehouse/distribution industries. This research includes participation in numerous industry-related trade shows, conferences, and seminars. Osmulski is a member of the IWLA Education and Partner Member Committees. His involvement with other supply-chain industry associations includes CSCMP, IARW, and WERC.

Osmulski earned two bachelor’s degrees (one in business management and another in economics) at St. Joseph’s College in Indiana. He also has an MBA from Lewis University in Illinois.

The CWLP designation is part of the IWLA Warehouse Logistics Professional Program. Individuals must first ascend through “qualified” to achieve the “certified” level. The highest designation is “executive.” The program, overseen by the IWLA Education Committee, is open to all warehouse logistics professionals, regardless of their companies’ IWLA membership status.
