There are plans to build a new $14 million warehouse and distribution center on South Bend’s west side.

National Distribution Center has outgrown its current leased facility on Sample Street.

The new facility is seeking a property tax abatement from the city.

It would be located on Dylan Drive.

The project isn’t expected to create additional jobs, but it would retain the current workforce of 108 employees.

National Distribution Center looked at another location in central Indiana along the I-69 corridor but decided South Bend would be more centrally located to its clients.
