SPARTAN LOGISTICS ANNOUNCES RETURN TO INDIANAPOLIS MARKET

Spartan Logistics, a Columbus, Ohio regional supply chain solutions company, is pleased to announce the opening of their newest facility in Greenwood, Indiana. The dedicated operation in a 124,000 square foot facility located at 642 Chaney Avenue will bring over 50 jobs to the city.

The virgin building was built in 2017 speculatively, but the Spartan Logistics lease completes the full lease of the building. The 232,000 square foot facility on 30 acres was acquired by Pinchal & Company,   a privately owned real estate investment company that focuses on development, acquisition, operation and portfolio management throughout the United States. The opening of Greenwood positions Spartan to cover the entire Midwest with Indiana locations in Greenwood and Marion. In addition, Spartan Logistics owns or operates nearly 3,000,000 square feet of prime warehouses in Ohio, Arkansas, Missouri, and the Carolinas.

Spartan Logistics is a third-party logistics and fulfillment company that works with a large variety of clients, primarily in the food and beverage and container industries. Spartan Logistics is well-versed in lot tracking and inventory control and reported that the fast-moving distribution center in Greenwood has a unique process that allows the inventory to turn over 200 times per year.
