Peoples Services, Inc., a network of companies dedicated to providing quality supply chain logistics and value-add services, is proud to announce the appointment of CEO Doug Sibila to Northeast Ohio’s 2019 Smart 50 list. The Smart 50 Awards recognize the top executives in the region for their ability to effectively build and lead successful organizations.
Sibila’s focus on strategic acquisitions, including Terminal Warehouse, which doubled the company’s size, has expanded the organization to 45 locations in seven states. These purchases have diversified People Services’ warehousing and logistic services capabilities across polymers, chemicals, automotive, industrial, consumer goods and, most recently, food-grade storage.
With Sibila driving enhanced corporate planning, technology investments and human resource functions across the company, as well as smooth acquisition integrations, the company has doubled in revenue since 2012 and more than quadrupled from 2009.
“It is always an honor and privilege to be recognized, especially amongst such an esteemed group of business leaders,” said Sibila. “This award is a testament to the unparalleled service expertise and innovation Peoples Services fosters throughout our companies.” In addition to Smart 50 recognition, Peoples Services received a specialty achievement award for sustainability for the company’s continued growth over 105 years.
