JDSmith formally celebrated 100 years on Sept. 14, 2019 with employees and their families, representatives of industry, government, suppliers, press and clients were invited to celebrate.

From its humble beginnings in 1919, a single pick-up truck in Toronto, JD Smith has grown into one of the most trusted and valued names in third-party logistics in Canada.

The last century has seen varied industries reach out, and wide-ranging partnerships established including running the national logistics network for Bi-Way stores, delivery of renal care medicine to patient homes for Baxter, managing operations and reverse flow for Hewlett-Packard, and servicing Canada for several CPG companies.

While the world in which we operate has changed, our goal is the same today as it was nearly 100 years ago – to provide enhanced customer service and value to help our client partners execute their business plans, and grow their sales and profits.
