With the authorization for the Highway Trust Fund expiring the end of this month, Congress is may opt for a one-year extension.  Reportedly, Congressional leaders are close to agreement on a one-year extension, along with emergency funding for departments of transportation and public transit agencies nationwide to the tune of $37 billion and $32 billion, respectively.
