I thank each and every one of you who voted, stepped up to contribute to the IWLA Political Action Committee, worked on campaigns, and encouraged others to do likewise. I am pleased to report that every candidate that IWLA-PAC supported WON yesterday! We have achieved a 100-percent success rate.

More importantly, IWLA now has people in Washington, D.C., who will be listening and looking to help the business community expand and employ more people. Thus, our efforts will create a better economic environment and a better future. These elected officials will have oversight of regulators, and influence over appointments in high-level positions in these regulatory agencies. This is a critical step in the right direction.

But our task is not complete. We have to be diligent in preparing for the next election. It takes a lot of work and money to make what happened in this election repeat in a presidential election year. Please take a few moments to breathe and celebrate this victory, but also remember to continue to stay diligent in preparing for the future.
