Next week is the 125^th IWLA Convention & Expo. Those of you heading to Orlando are busy packing. (Don’t forget your island-casual attire for the 125^th Anniversary poolside celebration.) Here are a couple of reminders of things you may want to do in order to make the 2016 IWLA Convention & Expo week extra productive.

1. Download the IWLA Convention App sponsored by Zethcon. Now is the time to download the convention app. Members are already starting to engage through the app and you don’t want to scramble for your app store password onsite. It’s easy to find: search for 2016 IWLA in your app store and use your email and 2016IWLA password.
2. Check out the agenda and flag meetings that you want to attend. This is especially true for the breakout sessions and council meetings. Some meetings might also be taking place on Sunday. Be sure to attend those if you arrive early enough.
3. Plan to attend the IWLA-PAC Dinner on Sunday, March 13. This fundraising dinner features entertainer, Mark Russell, a 30-year public television host of the “Mark Russell Comedy Specials.” Recently, a retrospective of his work (Mark Russell’s America) was broadcast across the PBS network. Additional registration required. To receive an invite to this event, please submit your approval for solicitation by the IWLA-PAC in advance.
4. Take in the Orlando sunshine golfing with your warehousing peers! The 2016 TPA Group IWLA Golf Classic Tournament is a great way to get to know IWLA members and have fun too. The March 13 tournament tee-off is at noon at the ChampionsGate International Course. It’s not too late to sign up!
5. Study the exhibitors in the app. See which exhibitors you will want to visit with on the expo hall floor and discover which exhibitors are participating in the Innovation Contest. You will need to cast your vote by Tuesday evening’s 125^th Anniversary Celebration.
6. Familiarize yourself with the Omni Resort at ChampionsGate hotel map so you know exactly where to go on the first day.
7. Get ready to have fun! You are in for big surprises at the 125^th IWLA Convention & Expo. You won’t want to miss any of it! See you soon!
