On November 21 – 22, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce held its semiannual Labor Relations Committee Meeting in Washington, D.C. As a member of the Committee, IWLA engaged with allies and high-level Administration officials during full committee and subcommittee sessions. Some of the notable speakers included NLRB General Counsel Peter Robb, EEOC Chair Janet Dhillon, Deputy Labor Secretary Pat Pizzella, and DOL wage-hour chief Cheryl Stanton. The meetings were primarily focused on the Administration’s regulatory agenda as it related to the workplace, as well as legislative efforts underway on Capitol Hill.
