
Representatives from IWLA and Global Cold Chain Alliance meet at IWLA headquarters to explore new opportunities to enhance member benefits through the IWLA Insurance Captive program.
Members of the IWLA Insurance Captive (IWLA-IC) met with Corey Rosenbusch, CAE, president and CEO of the Global Cold Chain Alliance and Joe S. Howard, senior vice president of Lockton Companies, LLC, to discuss partnership opportunities with members of the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses. Darrel Lake, a representative from member Saddle Creek Logistics Services, Mike Lopeman of Artex Risk Solutions, Inc., and IWLA Chairman Paul Verst, CWLP, president & CEO of Verst Group Logistics were on hand to introduce the program and to share their success stories as members of the captive.Established in 1996, the IWLA Insurance Program writes policies specifically for warehousing risks. This member-owned group captive is open to firms that derive the majority of their revenues from warehousing and logistics operations. The program is endorsed by the International Warehouse Logistics Association and companies must become a member of IWLA in order to secure insurance through the IWLA-IC program.
